We strive for Open Protocols and 3rd Party Integration

The eDIDIO is an excellent standalone controller, but for projects which require additional connectivity, we have made it easier than ever to BYOD! (Bring Your Own Device).

Google Protocol Buffers API

Google Protocol Buffers make it easy to create a message interface in almost any programming language. There is a single .proto file which contains all of the message structures and can be compiled into an interface file to suit multiple languages. The repository contains compiled files for: C#, C, Java, Javascript and Python.

Google Protocol Buffers API – Simple Strings

If only a select few commands are required, simple strings can be sent to the eDIDIO via TCP Port 23. The latest Configurator update provides a ‘Generate Commands’ dialog that can quickly generate the string to send.
